UAE Full Form
The full form of UAE is the United Arab Emirates.
The United Arab Emirates or the Emirates is located in western Asia. It’s a country in the Middle East. UAE shares its borders with Saudi Arabia and Oman. UAE is located at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering the Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf (Arab Gulf).
The capital of UAE is Abu Dhabi.
The United Arab Emirates consists of seven (Emirates) independent city-states consisting – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain.

– Official language of UAE is Arabic.
– Official religion of the UAE is Islam.
– National Bird of UAE is Falcon.
– Anthem os UAE is “Ishy Bilady“. In English translates as ‘Long Live My Country“
– Currency is called UAE Dirham (Code- AED).
UAE National Day
UAE is celebrating its National Day on 2nd December every year. It is marked as the unification date of the emirates into a federation.
Six Emirates joined on 2nd December 1971 and Ras Al Khaimah joined later on 10 February 1972.
The late Sheikh Zayed is also known as the Founding Father founded UAE.
Some Facts About UAE
• The oil reserves of UAE are the sixth-largest in the world currently(2021).
• World’s Highest building is located in Dubai, the Burj Khalifa, which is 829.8 metres tall, if counted to the tip of its antenna.
• The Burj Al Arab is the world’s first seven-star hotel, which is in Dubai.
• The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world with a total area of 1,124,000 square metres.
• Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi was appointed as the first female minister of UAE in 2004.
• Tourism now accounts for over 10% of the UAE’s GDP. Over 12 million tourists visit the UAE every year.
• Majority of UAE’s population is of Muslims. Other small but growing communities are Hindus and Christians.
• Other than Arabic the foreign languages such as English, Hindi, Farsi, and Urdu are also spoken in the United Arab Emirates.
• Population of UAE is 10 million out of which 1.4 million are native people and others are expatriates which are close to 84 per cent of its population.
